The United States of America has stood strong for 250 years as of Saturday. And while it wasn’t exactly the intent of Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and the rest of the Second Continental Congress back in 1776, the creation of America paved the way for the greatest sport of all time — Football!
To celebrate the 4th of July, social media accounts from football teams across the SEC made graphics and videos wishing their fans a happy Independence Day. Most football accounts across the SEC joined in, while some delegated the happy wishes to their team athletics page.
