Harvard Band’s made national headlines last weekend for all the wrong reasons after spelling out a suggestive term during their halftime performance.

An image tweeted by a student revealed the name of a certain appendage being formed at midfield. In an interview with The Boston Globe this week, Paul Meosky, manager of the Harvard Band, said that wasn’t the intent.

โ€œWe meant to spell โ€˜Pen โ€˜15โ€™ with both a space and an apostrophe before the number,โ€ Meosky said in an emailed statement to the newspaper.

What exactly is Pen 15 you might ask? Just a sexually-explicit joke for the immature.
