Aaron Willis is a highly sought after linebacker in the Class of 2021, and reportedly has 14 offers, including several across the SEC.
The Baltimore, Maryland native is listed at 6-feet and 200 pounds as a 4-star outside linebacker, according to 247Sports.
Willis recently released his top five schools, which are Maryland, Clemson, Alabama, LSU and Georgia. The 247Sports Crystal Ball has him pegged for Alabama.
His evaluation describes Willis this way: “Frame concerns at linebacker, but not a deal-breaker. Plays physical, violent and fast. Sound with responsibilities. Moves well laterally. Good tackler with body control. Delivers big hit with low pad level moving downhill. Quick feet and ability to change direction in coverage.”
“Inside MD Sports” reported that Willis committed to Virginia Tech as a sophomore, but as his recruitment grew and added offers from Texas A&M, Tennessee and Alabama, among others, Willis reopened his recruitment.
Willis said he wants to visit LSU, Georgia and Alabama, and that he’s already been to Clemson. He may visit Notre Dame and Nebraska, too.
