Interception, fumble, touchdown: Wild play in NFL game helps Titans earn first win

The Tennessee Titans and Arizona Cardinals played a wild NFL game on Sunday afternoon.

One particularly-memorable play happened in the fourth quarter, with the Cardinals up 21-12 and the Tennessee Titans in the red zone.

Quarterback Cam Ward threw an interception to Dadrion Taylor-Demerson. However, Taylor-Demerson fumbled the ball, and a scrum ensued. It ended up with Titans wide receiver Tyler Lockett recovering the ball in the endzone, scoring a touchdown to cut the deficit to 21-19.

That play came on the heels of Cardinals running back Emari Demercado having a wide open touchdown, but he dropped the ball short of the end zone and gave the ball back to the Titans.

Those plays ended up costing the Cardinals in a huge way, as Joey Slye kicked a 29-yard field goal as time expired to give the Titans a crazy 22-21 victory for their first win of the year. The Cardinals fell to 2-3 with their three losses being by a total of five points.

‘Any Given Sunday’ is a name of famous football movie, but it is truly a perfect way to describe the NFL. You never know what you are going to see every week of the NFL season.
