Jaden Rashada, a former Florida QB pledge who requested a release from his NLI last month, has committed to Arizona State, he announced Wednesday.

The 4-star QB is a top 75 prospect in the nation and provides an immediate boon to the Sun Devils’ QB room. Arizona State reportedly beat out TCU and Miami for Rashada’s talents.

Rashada requested a release from his Florida NLI after disagreements with Florida’s independent NIL collective.

The Pittsburg, California native is considered to be the No. 44 player in the Class of 2023 rankings and the No. 6 quarterback. He’s also considered to be the No. 4 player out of the state of California.

Florida does not currently have a quarterback committed in the Class of 2023, but earned a transfer pledge out of former Wisconsin signal caller Graham Mertz on Dec. 21.
