Jalen Hurts guided the Philadelphia Eagles to a 31-17 victory over former Alabama teammate Tua Tagovailoa and the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night Football.
After sharing a long hug with Tagovailoa after their first clash as pros, Hurts poked some fun at star wide receiver AJ Brown.
Brown finished with 10 receptions for 137 yards and a touchdown in the win to tie the NFL record with 5 consecutive games of at least 125 receiving yards.
However while Brown devoured the Dolphins, his quarterback playfully put his eating habits on blast in the postgame interview.

Brown frequently hangs out at Hurts’ house where he has the green light to eat whatever he wants.
“I think it just shows how comfortable we are together, man,” Brown said. “I don’t really have to go in the fridge. This guy has a shelf. So shout out to his shelf.”
Yet, the 2-time Pro Bowl receiver keeps it simple, especially with seafood, to the amusement of Hurts.
“All he wants to eat is salmon. He don’t eat crawfish. He don’t eat shrimp. He don’t eat none of that,” Hurts said. “He’s got a small appetite.”
Hurts and Brown will look to take a bite into division rival Washington Commanders next Sunday as they continue their quest for a Super Bowl title.
