Jalen Milroe manages to produce larger hand measurement at NFL Combine after small size at Senior Bowl

Jalen Milroe is one of the most polarizing prospects in this year’s NFL Draft, and that is unlikely to change moving forward. But at the NFL Combine, Milroe received one surprising bump to his portfolio.
The Alabama product made waves when he was measured at the Reese’s Senior Bowl, particularly for his hand size which was listed at 8 6/8″. That brought Milroe under the traditional 9″ threshold that teams look for in most quarterbacks.
However, Milroe’s hands checked in considerably larger at the NFL Combine. His official hand measurement in Indianapolis was 9 3/8″, showing an increase of half an inch in size from the Senior Bowl to the combine.

So, how did Milroe get his hands to grow in the span of just a couple of weeks? That’s a question many were asking on social media, but the real explanation is probably less extreme.
More than likely, one of Milroe’s original measurements was off, but that begs the question: Which measurement is accurate? It could make a legitimate impact on his draft stock, and it will be interesting to see if we get perhaps an even different number at his pro day.

As for his hands? We’ll have to wait and see if we get more insight into the true nature of Milroe’s hand size.
