Jalin Hyatt stands alone atop Tennessee’s record books for receiving touchdowns in a season. The Volunteers wide receiver added 2 more Saturday night against Kentucky in the first half to break Marcus Nash’s record in 1997.

Hyatt’s second touchdown reception Saturday night gave him the record-breaking 14 on the season. Hyatt has recorded 3 catches for 91 yards and the 2 scores against the Wildcats defense, and there’s still a half to play.

Entering Saturday night, the Tennessee wide receiver had recorded 40 catches for 769 yards and 12 scores. He’s added 2 more against Kentucky, and he’s marching his way toward becoming a 1,000-yard receiver.

Hyatt’s best game of the season came against Alabama’s top defense, as he recorded 6 catches for 207 yards and a whopping 5 touchdowns.

Below is Hyatt’s record-breaking touchdown grab.

Tennessee leads Kentucky 27-6 at halftime.
