Jeff Lebby is now Oklahoma’s offensive coordinator, and he received a significant pay increase to leave Oxford.
According to a report by The Oklahoman, Lebby is set to receive a $1.8 million salary in 2021 as part of his 3-year, $5.7 million deal. Lebby will receive a 100,000 salary increase annually during his 3-year agreement.
Lebby was reportedly paid $1.2 million during the 2021 season, which was an increase from $700,000 in 2020.
The Oklahoma graduate is one of the nation’s premier offensive minds, and it was apparent from the get-go that Sooners head coach Brent Venables would target Lebby to run his offense.
Venables then hired Ted Roof to run his defensive unit with a 3-year, $3.45 million salary. Roof coached with Venables at Clemson in 2021.
