A former Georgia wide receiver is reportedly looking for a new opportunity again.

Jason Butt of Rivals’ UGA Sports reports that Jeremiah “JJ” Holloman has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Entering the transfer portal does not bound a player to leave the team, but allows them to be recruited and contacted by other teams. Based on Holloman’s 2020 season at FIU, it is not surprising to see the wide receiver look into a new opportunity.

With the Panthers, Holloman played in four games, catching 8 passes for 108 yards and a touchdown. His biggest college football season came with Georgia in 2018 when he played in all 14 Bulldogs games, recording 24 receptions for 418 yards and 5 TDs.

While some Dawgs fans might like to see the former 4-star class of 2017 prospect return to Athens,  it’s unlikely the SEC would allow him to re-join UGA due to the conference’s “serious misconduct” rule regarding incoming transfers.

Holloman was dismissed by Smart ahead of the 2019 season after a woman came forward accusing him of assault in 2018.
