On the showdown with No. 3 Ole Miss:
“Time to tear off the review mirror and go get ready for the third-ranked team in the country.”
“I know our guys are looking forward to the challenge, the opportunity to go against a team of this quality in The Swamp.”
“Coming back, this is a totally different Ole Miss team than what I coached against those years I was in the conference (2008-2011 at Alabama). They have done a phenomenal job recruiting.”
“(WR Laquon) Treadwell is as good as anybody in the country.”
“Their offensive line has the third-most starts of any team in college football.”
“They’ve got not only size, but great speed on their defensive front.”
On WR Brandon Powell’s block on the touchdown pass to WR Antonio Callaway:
“The play of Brandon Powell on that particular play to get into the end zone, that’s what made it happen. He made it easy for Antonio.”
I know it's already been said, but Brandon Powell deserves a lot of credit for block on Callaway's game-winning TD. pic.twitter.com/TdmIf4VsVz

On fans who left before the end of the Tennessee game:
“I wonder what was going through some of those minds when they were walking out the stadium, out to their cars when they heard that eruption.”
On star Rebels DT Robert Nekmdiche:
“He’s a guy you must be aware of…You have to know where he’s at. You build your plan around sliding to him, getting an extra chip on him. He’s going to make plays because he’s a naturally great player. You don’t want him to be a disruptor.”
Mac says they will do some shift and formations to move Robert around to where they want him to be instead of where Ole Miss wants him to be

On coming from behind to beat the Volunteers:
“The thing that was most satisfying in this one, is I never sensed any panic on our sideline…I was really proud of how they finished that game.”
On K Jorge Powell filling in for the injured K Austin Hardin:
“Let’s talk about unsung heroes. Jorge, our kicking guy, he made a game-saving tackle. And he made that kick (after the Callaway touchdown).”
On calling timeout before Tennessee’s field goal attempt when Florida had 12 men on the field:
“I counted 12. I’m really happy my dad was a math teacher.”
On how the team is handling the success of being 4-0:
“You don’t know until you get to this one…There was certainly a sense of urgency, a sense of understanding (this week)…I like that we’re feeling good about ourselves…The preparation has been okay, I look forward to seeing how our guys respond to the success.”
On using defensive players on offense a la Ole Miss’ use of DT Robert Nkemdiche near the goal line:
“(DT) Joey Ivie’s our fullback in our big personnel. We’ve used him on about 12 plays. And we’ve got (CB) Vernon Hargreaves a package on offense, our cat package. And he’s back to being healthy.”
