One of the things that was a selling point about Haynes King when he arrived at Texas A&M, and now that he’s won the starting quarterback job is his running ability.
Combine that with his arm, and coach Jimbo Fisher has something to work with when constructing the offense. Fisher explained how on the SEC coaches media teleconference on Wednesday.
“It does, definitely,” Fisher said. “You can construct things for that if you want to. I’m a guy who believes you win from the pocket, your accuracy … and then you add your legs onto that. … We’ll do it when we have to to do what we have to do to win. … Having a guy who can do all those things is definitely a blessing.”
