Jimbo Fisher is an inductee into the 2024 Peach Bowl Hall of Fame class, and he was honored ahead of Wednesday’s matchup between Texas and Arizona State.
Obviously, Fisher is not exactly well-loved by Texas fans, the majority of those in attendance for Longhorns-Sun Devils. The former Texas A&M (and Florida State) head coach could do nothing but laugh as boos rained dowl from the stands.
Check it out below:
Texas fans are obviously amped up for their matchup with the Sun Devils, and they took that energy into the opening minutes of Wednesday’s game. The Longhorns jumped to a 17-3 lead over Arizona State, but the Sun Devils are trying their best to crawl back into this one following a safety at the midway point in the 3rd quarter.
Fisher is not the only SEC notable being inducted into the Peach Bowl Hall of Fame. Eric Berry, who starred for Tennessee at defensive back in the late 2000s, joins Fisher and former Peach Bowl Board of Directors member Neill Cameron as the 3 2024 inductees.
The Peach Bowl Hall of Fame is now up to 67 members, which includes Bobby Dodd, Mike Singletary and Reggie White, among others.
