Texas A&M is in a position to make some serious postseason noise if the Aggies win out, and get some help against Alabama’s opponents down the stretch.

Coach Jimbo Fisher discussed on the SEC coaches media teleconference how the program has set a priority for the end of the season. But the Aggies have to continue to be relevant.

“We tell our guys you want to make November relevant,” he said. “… At the end of the month, if we’re in that situation, we’re in that situation. But we’ve got to put ourselves there first.”

Fisher also has taken notice about Ole Miss’ defensive improvements since last season.

“Their ability to have spring practices,” he said. “… It’s just enhanced. Their players have gotten better in the system and they’ve added some players and transfers in there to help them.”
