Sam Pittman knows the importance of keeping the best talent from the Natural State home so it was no surprise to see the Razorbacks get in early on 2022 prospect JJ Hollingsworth.
The 6-foot-3, 245-pound rising junior from Greenland High School announced his commitment to the Arkansas program on Friday not long after receiving a scholarship offer from Pittman’s Razorback program.
At this time, Hollingsworth does not have a 247Sports Composite Ranking but 247Sports lists the Arkansas native as a three-star prospect and the No. 9 prospect from the Natural State in the 2022 recruiting cycle.
Kansas and Akron have also extended early scholarship offers to the Hollingsworth, who is likely to see interest in his services heat up following his pledge to join the Razorbacks.
