J’Marion Burnette, 4-star 2024 RB out of Alabama, announces SEC commitment

J’Marion Burnette is staying in his home state to play college football. The blue-chip running back out of Andalusia (Alabama) is headed to The Plains.
Burnette announced Friday that he has committed to play for Auburn.

Burnette is listed at 6-1, 225 pounds. On the 247Sports composite rankings, Burnette is rated 4-stars, the No. 8 recruit in the state of Alabama, No. 10 running back and No. 158 prospect overall nationally in the 2024 recruiting class. Burnette has picked up 23 scholarship offers during his recruitment.
In November, Burnette included Auburn in his top 10 teams, along with Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida State, Michigan, Oregon, Penn State and Texas.
