Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase almost every week deliver an eye-popping touchdown, and Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, the former LSU stars did it again.
On fourth down, Burrow spun out of a would-be sack, and found Chase on the back line of the end zone for a 17-yard touchdown, the first of the day for the Bengals. It pulled them within a touchdown of the 49ers. It came on fourth down and 5 with 9:20 left in the fourth quarter.
It was a relatively quiet day for Chase, as he had just 4 catches for 45 yards on 7 targets with about 2:40 remaining in the game. Burrow was 19-for-26 passing for 204 yards by that point.
