Joe Lunardi releases latest bracketology 1 day out from Selection Sunday

Joe Lunardi has released another version of bracketology just one day out from Selection Sunday. As of now, he has 8 SEC teams cracking the field: Alabama, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Missouri, Kentucky, Auburn, Arkansas and Mississippi State. Vanderbilt is included on Lunardi’s First 4 Out.
There are plenty of interesting storylines to follow across the next 48 hours or so. For one, Alabama, according to Lunardi, can finish no worse than the No. 2 overall seed (on the 1-line, of course) in the NCAA Tournament, regardless of today’s SEC semifinal contest between the Crimson Tide and Missouri Tigers.
Vanderbilt is another interesting team to watch. The Commodores have come out of nowhere to contend for a spot in the dance, winning 10 of their last 11, including 2 SEC tournament games against LSU and Kentucky. Their next task is to beat a strong Texas A&M team fighting for a spot on the 4-line.
Even then, it’s tough to tell if that would be enough with how the selection committee has handled conference tournament resume wins in the past.

For teams not named Alabama, Missouri, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt, all that’s left to do is wait and see where who they will play in the NCAA Tournament.
Buckle up.
