College football analyst Joel Klatt has a New Year’s resolution — and it involves the Texas Longhorns.

It’s that there will be no Texas hype until the Longhorns put it all together on the field.

“There’s a team that is really talented, got the best recruit in the country, and everyone’s going to be talking about them this spring and I didn’t mention them in the entire podcast,” Klatt said. “And it’s really been a bit of a New Year’s resolution to be honest with you. You know who I’m talking about. I’m talking about Texas.”

Klatt has been among the media members who have consistently try spoken about Texas over recent years, but says that it “is what it is” until Texas stops letting him down.

Texas finished out the 2022 season with an 8-5 overall record and will be poised for better in 2023.
