Joel Klatt is 1 of the most prominent analysts in all of college football, as he is on the No. 1 college football broadcast team at FOX with Gus Johnson and Jenny Taft. He also has his own podcast called The Joel Klatt Show.
On his most recent show, the topic of college football’s most underrated stadiums was brought up, and Klatt gave his list.
The first underrated stadium Klatt mentioned was Iowa, calling it a terrific venue. The B1G was a common theme in his list, as he also had Washington and Oregon as some of the most underrated stadiums in the country. He also gave a shoutout to Folsom Field, as that is where he played his collegiate football.
“I think a great underrated venue is Kinnick Stadium in Iowa,” Klatt said. “I think Folsom Field in Colorado is underrated. The students are right up on you. Husky Stadium in Seattle, that is a beautiful stadium that gets very loud. Autzen Stadium is another one that doesn’t get it due. Those are a few of them.”
When it came down to making a final decision though, he went with Iowa.
“For me, most underrated would be Kinnick in Iowa. I think that is a really cool venue,” Klatt said.
