Week 5 of the 2026 college football season is officially in the books, and there was plenty of shuffling around in the pecking order after some major upsets and beatdowns across the country.
The SEC, in particular, saw a couple of highly ranked squads that previously looked unbeatable knocked down a couple of pegs thanks to blowout losses, while other programs continued to look every bit the part of conference and national title contenders.
After taking in all the action from last weekend for himself, Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt officially unveiled his brand new top 10 rankings on Monday morning, and 3 SEC squads made the cut.

All of the SEC teams that Klatt included in his rankings were inside the top 5, with the Georgia Bulldogs and Texas Longhorns occupying the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, respectively.
After those 2, Klatt then has the Ohio State Buckeyes slotted in at No. 3 followed by the Miami Hurricanes at No. 4, and the Alabama Crimson Tide rounding out his top 5.
The Indiana Hoosiers fell just outside the top 5 at No. 6, and were followed by the Notre Dame Fighting Irish at No. 7, Oregon Ducks at No. 8, Utah Utes at No. 9, and the BYU Cougars wrapping things up at No. 10.
