Week 6 of the 2026 college football season is officially in the books, and it featured a number of high-profile showdowns and several massive upsets that shook up the established pecking order.
Both the AP and Coaches Polls saw significant movement up and down their respective top 25 rankings, and the same held true for many of the sport’s top voicesโ personal rankings.
Fox Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt shared his updated top 10 on Monday morning’s episode of the Joel Klatt Show, and he had some surprising team placements after all the action from this past weekend.
Klatt has the Georgia Bulldogs at No. 1 in his rankings after their massive road win against Alabama, while the Tide came in at No. 4. Sandwiched between them are the Ohio State Buckeyes at No. 2 and the Miami Hurricanes at No. 3.
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish rounded out Klatt’s top 5, followed by the Indiana Hoosiers at No. 6, Texas Longhorns at No. 7, Utah Utes at No. 8, BYU Cougars at No. 9, and UCLA Bruins capping everything off at No. 10.
With plenty of high-profile matchups still to be played, it will be interesting to see how Klatt’s rankings end up looking over the back half of the regular season heading into the College Football Playoff.
