Following a wild and unpredictable Week 1, Joel Klatt has released his new top 10 rankings.

In a week that saw numerous high-profile matchups, there has been some movement in Klatt’s top 10. On Saturday, we saw Alabama lose to unranked Florida State, LSU go on the road and upset Clemson, Ohio State protect its home field against Arch Manning and Texas. Then on Sunday, Miami defeated Notre Dame at home in a close battle.

Here’s Klatt’s top 10 for Week 2:

  1. Ohio State
  2. LSU
  3. Penn State
  4. Oregon
  5. Georgia
  6. Texas
  7. Miami
  8. Clemson
  9. Notre Dame
  10. Florida State

There’s lots of movement in Klatt’s new top 10 compared to his previous ranking. Florida State jumps its way into the top 10 after upsetting the Crimson Tide. Alabama and Michigan both fell out of that top group and there’s a new No. 1 for Klatt in the Ohio State Buckeyes.

LSU finished just one spot back of being Klatt’s top overall team after the Tigers upset Clemson on the road. Georgia was the only other SEC program to crack Klatt’s top-5 this week, although Texas isn’t far behind at No. 6.

Here’s a video of Klatt explaining his new rankings:
