College football analyst Joel Klatt has updated his top 10 following Week 1.

The FOX analyst shared his new rankings on Monday morning. He has Ohio State in the top spot, but 3 SEC teams in his top 6 โ€” No. 2 Texas, No. 3 LSU and No. 6 Georgia. Oklahoma also made an appearance at No. 9.

LSU was the big mover thanks to its 51-10 drubbing of Clemson in the opener. The Tigers completely dismantled Clemson in primetime on Saturday night, announcing themselves as potential title contenders in Year 1 under Lane Kiffin.

“Sam Leavitt was electric, in-particular with his legs,” Klatt said of LSU’s quarterback.

Texas also had a big Week 1, albeit against lighter competition. The Longhorns crushed Texas State 59-7 behind a 4-touchdown performance from Arch Manning.

Things will get much tougher for the Longhorns next week as they host Ohio State in a showdown of Klatt’s top 2 teams. LSU has a lighter Week 2 before making the trip to Oxford for a highly-anticipated matchup with Ole Miss in Week 3.
