John Daly is a golf legend and an Arkansas legend. He’s still very popular in Fayetteville, and he made the rounds on the SEC Network on Saturday morning.
Ahead of Arkansas’s season opener against Cincinnati, Daly appeared on both “Marty & McGee” and SEC Nation.
Daly is a perfect fit for Marty & McGee’s “Hillbilly Headlines” segment, and he delivered in epic fashion with the very first headline:

Yes, Daly was just reading the headline with his own signature flair, but what makes Daly such a legend is that it’s absolutely believable, too.
Daly does his own thing and that’s what makes him beloved by fans and media members alike.
It’s clear he managed to have a ton of fun ahead of the Arkansas game. Now, we’ll see if the Hogs can pick up a big win to make his day even better.
