Johnny Knoxville roasts Pat McAfee’s album while making College GameDay pick

College GameDay hit a home run with its selection of Johnny Knoxville for its guest picker in Week 4. The actor’s stage name certainly qualified him for the role at a show in Knoxville, TN, but his wit added a tremendous element. And one of his statements endeared him to many fans.
When making his pick for the Missouri Tigers and Mississippi State Bulldogs, Knoxville — dressed in a full Tennessee uniform — flamed Pat McAfee’s album, The Diary of a Polarizing Figure.
“I’m so sure about this game,” Knoxville said. “If Missouri loses, I will punish myself by listening to Pat McAfee’s new album on repeat until Halloween.”
McAfee laughed as Knoxville said “no offense” to him. The former punter playfully replied, “offense taken,” but in social media’s eyes, the damage was done. Users believe Knoxville’s comments, to a degree, stung McAfee.
McAfee and Knoxville may have disagreed on the way Mizzou and Mississippi State would turn out, but they were two peas in a pod on the final pick of the day. They put their stamp on the Volunteers to defeat the No. 1 team in the country. The first-ever regular-season clash between Texas and Tennessee is airing on ABC.
