Joining the Pirate: Mississippi State flips 3-star lineman from Rutgers

Mississippi State has just received a commitment from 3-star offensive tackle prospect Albert Reese.

Reese was previously committed to Rutgers. He announced the decision on Monday afternoon:

Reese is the No. 102 offensive tackle in the country according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He hails from Clearwater, Fla., and is the No. 155 overall player in the sunshine state for this class.

The Bulldogs offered Reese a scholarship on Dec. 2, per 247Sports. He originally committed to Rutgers back in May.

Reese also has offers from Arizona State, Michigan State, Ole Miss and Oklahoma State, amongst others per 247Sports.

247Sports now ranks Mississippi State’s recruiting class No. 35 in the country and No. 10 in the SEC.
