The Florida Gators suffered a setback this past weekend when they went on the road and took a 45-17 beatdown from the Missouri Tigers, the first loss of the Jon Sumrall era in Gainesville.
It seemed like nothing could go right for the Gators against the Tigers, and that held particularly true for star running back Jadan Baugh and the previously unstoppable Florida ground game.

Baugh was held to a season-low 13 rushing yards on 12 carries, and Sumrall told reporters Monday morning that his star running back reached out to him personally following this disappointing showing to apologize.
According to Florida beat writer Edgar Thompson, Sumrall said that Baugh texted him after the loss, saying he was sorry for the poor showing and that it will never happen again.
Accountability is a massive part of being a leader on any team, and it’s a massive part of what makes Baugh such a unique athlete whom everybody in Gainesville absolutely loves.
There’s no question the star tailback will bounce back in the coming weeks, and he will continue to be a major part of the Gators’ success on the gridiron.
