Tennessee will have to replace the best point guard in the SEC next season as Jordan Bone just announced he’s leaving the program to enter his name into the 2019 NBA Draft.

During his time at Tennessee, Bone developed from a low-level high school prospect into one of the best point guards in the nation. While Grant Williams and Admiral Schofield deserve all the praise the Tennessee big men got this season, Bone’s emergence as an elite point guard is arguably the biggest reason Tennessee went from SEC contender to national contender on the court.

Now as he projects as one of the top point guard prospects in the 2019 NBA Draft, Bone has decided to test the draft waters and declare himself for the draft. Even though Bone has declared for the NBA, he could return to school his senior season, as Schofield did this time last year.

However, based on his announcement video, it seems clear Bone is set on making the jump to the NBA this offseason.
