The 2026 college football season got underway with this past weekend’s Week 0 games, but Week 1 is the official start of the season for many programs. Ahead of Week 1, ESPN analyst Jordan Rodgers revealed his picks to win the Power 4 conferences.
In the SEC, Rodgers is going with the Georgia Bulldogs. Kirby Smart‘s squad has won back-to-back conference titles, but Rodgers called UGA “the team that not enough people are talking about.”
“Everyone’s talking LSU, Texas…. Gunner Stockton top-five quarterback in college football, was so good against ranked teams last year,” Rodgers said on Thursday’s First Take.

Stephen A. Smith agreed with Rodgers’ pick of Georgia for the SEC, as well as Miami to win the ACC and Texas Tech in the Big 12. Rodgers likes Indiana to repeat as Big Ten champs, but Smith says it will be Ohio State.
โOhio State will win the Big Ten not Indiana!"
