It’s official, and the ink is dry.

Former Tennessee QB Joshua Dobbs is a Pittsburgh Steeler. Dobbs tweeted out a photo of his contract signing on Monday.

The former record-setting Volunteer is the first QB the Steelers have drafted since 2013, and he’ll likely be the No. 3 signal caller on the depth chart. Obviously, Ben Roethlisberger is the starter, but backing up Big Ben is likely Landry Jones, the former OU QB. But there’s plenty of time for Dobbs to work his way up in the rotation.

Dobbs finished his Tennessee career by starting 35 games. He threw for over 7,100 yards and 53 touchdowns while adding 2,160 rushing yards and 32 touchdowns. The Alpharetta, Georgia, native is Tennessee’s all-time leader in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns for a signal caller.

Dobbs was picked No. 135 overall by the Steelers in the fourth round of the NFL Draft this spring.
