Report: Julio Jones holding out, willing to skip all of Atlanta’s training camp

Atlanta Falcons’ star WR Julio Jones is willing to sit out all of training camp in order to get his contract re-worked, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Atlanta’s training camp starts Thursday, but Jones won’t be there. He’s already skipped offseason workouts, too. Jones wants a pay raise, but the Falcons have been crystal clear they don’t intend to give him one.
If Jones does in fact sit out training camp, he’ll be fined $40,000 per day.
In August 2015, Jones signed a five-year, $71.25 million contract extension. He’s set to make $14.2 million in 2018, but that’s less than WRs Sammy Watkins ($16 million) and Davante Adams ($14.5 million), among others.
Jones is coming off of his least productive season in Atlanta, where he caught 88 passes for 1,444 yards and three TDs in 2017.
