On Monday night, news broke that Georgia freshman QB Justin Fields was intending to transfer from the program, but nothing was official yet.

On Tuesday afternoon, Fields officially took the first step toward transferring, as his name was added to the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Now, other teams can contact the former 5-star recruit about transferring, meaning his phone is probably blowing up right about now:

Fields will likely hear from many of the country’s top programs, including plenty of SEC squads, about transferring.

Where he ends up next is anyone’s guess, but ESPN reported that Oklahoma, Ohio State and Florida State will likely be big players in the quest to land Fields.
