Justin Jefferson, former LSU star, on pace to make NFL history with 3 games left in 2022 regular season

The Vikings were down 33-0 in the 3rd quarter before coming back to win in overtime, 39-36. Jefferson was an integral part of the comeback, securing 12 catches for 123 yards and 1 TD.
With the massive performance, Jefferson inched closer to the single-season NFL receiving yards record of 1,964 set by Calvin Johnson in 2012. Through 14 games, Jefferson has 1,623 yards. With 3 more games to go, Jefferson is on pace for 1,970 yards in 2022.

Jefferson has eclipsed the 100-yard mark in 9 of 14 games in 2022. In addition to the 1,623 receiving yards, Jefferson has found the end zone 7 times this season. Jefferson’s big day on Saturday helped the Vikings secure the NFC North title for the 1st time since 2017.
Jefferson holds the LSU single-season record for receptions after catching 111 passes for the Tigers in 2019. Jefferson is behind only Dwayne Bowe and Brandon LaFell in LSU career receiving TDs.
