Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer will have his likeness appear in EA Sports’ College Football 26 game which is set to be released later this summer.

DeBoer isn’t alone, as he’ll be joined by Alabama offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb and defensive coordinator Kane Wommack in the game. Alabama officially confirmed that news on Friday morning:

EA Sports brought back its college football video game franchise in 2025 for the first time in more than a decade. While the game was considered a success overall, it did not feature the real names or likenesses of any college football coaches. A licensing issue prevented real coaches from being present in the game, but that has seemingly been sorted out in time for College Football 26.

More than 300 real coaches are expected to appear in the game, which means most FBS head coaches and coordinators will be represented.

In addition to the Alabama coaching staff, the Crimson Tide are well-represented on the cover of this year’s game as wide receiver Ryan Williams is a co-cover athlete along with Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith.

College Football 26 has an official release date of July 10.
