Kalen DeBoer and Alabama suffered their first loss of the season on Saturday night, as the Crimson Tide lost to Georgia, 20-17. The Crimson Tide were trying to get the ball back late in the game and were one play away from getting that opportunity.

However, after the play, Alabama cornerback Dijon Lee got in a scuffle with a Georgia player. Both guys were pushing each other, but as it so often the case, Lee was the second guy to react, and he got a personal foul penalty that allowed Georgia to kneel out the rest of the game.

As Lee went to the sideline, Kalen DeBoer was there and gave him an earful, voicing his displeasure for his star player’s decision.

Saturday night was the latest game between these two schools to come down to the final minutes. The two teams are so even, both coaches know that one mistake like that can play a huge role in the game.

There were many reasons why the Crimson Tide lost on Saturday night, but the play by Lee will be used by DeBoer and his staff as coaching tape for the remainder of the season. Alabama will be back in action in Week 7 when the Crimson Tide travel to Knoxville to take on the Tennessee Volunteers.
