The Vanderbilt Commodores got a huge commitment from a player at one of the major football programs in the country who often contend for a national championship and the College Football Playoff.

Former Clemson linebacker Kane Patterson decided to join his younger brother Langston in Nashville.

Patterson, who spent the last 3 years at Clemson, thanked the Clemson coaches, but said it was always a dream of his to play football with his younger brother Langston.

Kane, who was a 4-star linebacker coming out of high school, saw limited action this year for Tigers as he only played in 3 games and made one solo tackle.

Look for Patterson to get more playing time on the West End than he got in the Upstate.
