Ken Griffey Jr. was one of the greatest baseball players ever to play the game. He finished his storied career with 630 home runs, which puts him at No. 7 on baseball’s all-time home run list.
His son, Tevin Griffey, is pursuing a different path, though. Instead of baseball, he’ll be pursuing football in college.
As you can see below, Griffey announced via Twitter this week that he’d be committing to Florida A&M University to play football:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Griffey is a 3-star cornerback. He’s ranked as the No. 136 corner in the 2020 class and the No. 201 overall recruit from the state of Florida.
How will Griffey fare at FAMU? We’ll find out starting this fall.
