Kentucky football recruiting has as much momentum as its ever had right now. The Wildcats added a 4-star cornerback out of Tennessee to its ever-growing 2027 class on Tuesday.
The prospect in question is 4-star cornerback Miles Brown, who chose Kentucky over the likes of Tennessee, Ole Miss and Louisville. He’s the 16th player to commit to play for new coach Will Stein in the Class of 2027.
Brown attends Westview high school in Martin, Tennessee and stands at 6-foot, 185 pounds. His anticipation is perhaps the best aspect of his game. According to 247Sports Director of Scouting Andrew Ivins, Brown totaled 4 pick-sixes as a junior at Westview.
Kentucky now has a top 10 class in the 2027 rankings according to 247Sports, which ranks 4th in the SEC behind only Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Florida. Of those 16 commitments mentioned earlier, 5 — including Brown — are expected to reside in the defensive secondary. Alongside Brown is 4-star safety Marquis Bryant, 3-star safety Tristan Hughes, 3-star safety Larron Westmoreland and 3-star corner Miguel Watson.
According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Brown is considered to be the No. 434 overall prospect in the Class of 2027, as well as the No. 42 corner and No. 19 player out of the Volunteer State.
