Kentucky drops intense hype video on eve of SEC showdown with Vanderbilt
Kentucky is having a breakthrough season under first-year head coach Will Stein, rising all the way to No. 12 in the country with a 6-1 overall record and a 4-1 mark in the SEC.
The streaking Wildcats haven’t lost since a Week 2 home setback to Alabama, and on Saturday night, in front of what should be another raucous home crowd in Lexington, UK will try to keep its roll going against struggling Vanderbilt.
With the Commodores yet to win an SEC game this season at 0-4 and at 3-4 overall, Week 8 in primetime is a perfect chance for the Cats to win their 6th game in a row. Whether they do it or not is up to them when the SEC rivals kick things off at 7:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
If the home fans didn’t have enough motivation to be loud on Saturday night, on national TV, with that No. 12 ranking next to UK’s name, they got a little more on Friday night when the Kentucky football social media account dropped an intense 1-minute hype video.

Kentucky fans have been briefed — or, in this case, called upon — to be even louder and more passionate than the last game in Lexington, and now it’s up to them to hear the challenge and bring it in primetime against Vandy.
