Kentucky is coming off a 35-14 loss to Georgia in Week 6, and is now 2-3 on the season. The Wildcats are 0-3 in SEC play, and have a brutal two-game home stretch coming up against Texas and Tennessee.
On Sunday, multiple reports surfaced that offensive coordinator Bush Hamden was set to be fired in the coming days. However, Kentucky Sports Radio founder Matt Jones refuted that on social media.
Here’s Jones’s report:
The Wildcats’ offense has been struggling this year, outside of the 48-point performance against Eastern Michigan earlier in the season. In the three SEC losses, the Wildcats are averaging only 16.7 points.
If there is any positive from the offense, is that freshman quarterback Cutter Boley has shown some potential early in the season.
Kentucky is idle in Week 7.
