The Kentucky Wildcats were named in Yahoo!’s explosive report detailing the FBI’s investigation into college basketball.
Notably, current star freshman Kevin Knox was mentioned as receiving improper benefits, but the Wildcats are denying those allegations.
As Kentucky prepares for a game against Mizzou on Saturday, the Wildcats have said Knox will play, and on Saturday morning, released a statement saying they’ve found no eligibility issues with current athletes:

Obviously, having Knox on the court tonight will be huge for the Wildcats as they try to strengthen their NCAA Tournament resume.
However, it seems strange that the FBI would say something and the Wildcats would deny it after a quick internal investigation. For now, all is well, but it’s possible things could change for Knox and the Wildcats in the future.
