Kentucky players enjoyed themselves in the locker room Saturday night after beating the Mississippi State Bulldogs.

Defensive back Jonquis Hardaway filmed himself and other Wildcats dancing and ringing a cowbell. Ringing a cowbell, of course, is a staple of Mississippi State fans in Starkville.

The Wildcats certainly earned the right to celebrate. The team won 24-3 and clinched a bowl berth. The victory was Kentucky’s 3rd SEC win of the season.

The Wildcats needed a big win after a disappointing defeat at the hands of the Tennessee Volunteers last week. The Wildcat defense bounced back in a big way after allowing the Vols to rack up 33 points. Against the Bulldogs in Starkville, the Wildcats allowed just 3 points and 218 total yards of offense.

Devin Leary threw for 156 yards and 2 TDs and Ray Davis added 80 yards on the ground. D’Eryk Jackson snagged an interception and returned it 28 yards for a TD.

Now, the 6-3 Wildcats will gear up for a tough stretch run. The next test will be at home against Alabama before ending the season with games at South Carolina and Louisville.
