Is Kentucky on the cusp of landing a very talented 2017 QB prospect?

Via a report from Kentucky Sports, the Wildcats are looking good for talented ’17 signal-caller Danny Clark.

Clark — a native of Ohio — had been committed to Ohio State since he was a high school freshman. However, OSU garnered a pledge from fellow 2017 QB prospect Tate Martell. Clark decided to then reopen the process — with Kentucky firmly in view.

The 6-foot-4 quarterback will head to Kentucky this upcoming weekend on an official visit. Clark’s got a huge arm, very good frame, and the upside to play early within his college career.

According to Rivals.com Josh Helmholdt, the UK program has made a big impression on Clark:

“Kentucky is certainly the school that has the most buzz around Dannyโ€™s recruitment in the wake of the Ohio State decommitment. Thereโ€™s no doubt UK has been the team most talked about.”
