Kewan Lacy bullies into the end zone, gives Ole Miss early lead over LSU

Kewan Lacy and the Ole Miss Rebels have shown early that they mean business.
Pete Golding‘s squad leads Lane Kiffin and the visiting LSU Tigers 10-0 after the first 15 minutes thanks to an impressive touchdown drive led by Lacy, Trinidad Chambliss and the Rebels offense.
This story is about Lacy’s touchdown run, but it’s impossible to put into context without first noting Chambliss under center. The Rebels quarterback was surgical on this 6-play, 78-yard scoring drive — 70 yards of which were accounted for by Chambliss through the air on 4-of-4 passing. The final 5 yards, however, were produced by Lacy, who bullied his way into the end zone through a few LSU defenders for a touchdown.

LSU at Ole Miss has been one of the most anticipated matchups all season in college football, and it’s not difficult to see why. Ole Miss fans have long awaited Lane Kiffin’s return to Oxford after he left them high and dry just before their College Football Playoff run, opting to coach the more historically relevant Tigers rather than attempt a run at the CFP title.
