Kickoff time, TV info announced for Oklahoma-Michigan in Week 2
Oklahoma and Michigan will kick off at 12 p.m. ET on Sept. 12 in a Week 2 showdown at the Big House.
The game will also be carried by FOX, the network announced on Monday evening. Big Noon Kickoff will presumably set up in Ann Arbor on that Saturday morning to help preview this game between 2 of college football’s most-storied programs.
Here’s the official announcement:
This is a pivotal game for both programs. Both Michigan and Oklahoma have significant College Football Playoff aspirations in 2026 and picking up a big nonconference win early in the season will be paramount for those efforts.

Michigan will be playing just the 2nd game of the Kyle Whittingham era after opening the season against Western Michigan in Week 1. The Wolverines underachieved in 2025 but are set to return quarterback Bryce Underwood and several other key contributors.
The Sooners are coming off of a CFP appearance in 2025 and also return their starting quarterback in John Mateer. Oklahoma went 10-3 a year ago but has not won double-digit games in consecutive seasons since 2015-19.
These teams met in Norman last season — a game the Sooners won 24-13. OU is 2-0 all-time against the Wolverines.
