In order for No. 10 Georgia to earn a victory at Auburn on Saturday, the Bulldogs will have to find a way to contain dual-threat quarterback Jackson Arnold. During his Monday press conference, UGA head coach Kirby Smart marveled at the running ability of the 6-foot-1 junior.

In his last game, Arnold erupted for 137 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground.

“First thing is athleticism. He’s had 2 or 3 plays that were broken plays or plays that maybe scramble plays, RPOs that were designed to be thrown. Maybe the look changed and he takes off running for 60 yards, for 70 yards. He doesn’t just run for 8-9 yards and go down,” Smart said. “He runs like a running back. He runs over you, through you, around you.”

Smart added that the talent surrounding Arnold makes him even more dynamic.

“They run gap schemes with him. They run perimeter runs with him,” Smart said. “Then probably the toughest thing to defend is when he drops back and he ends up taking off running. He’s a weapon and they’ve got weapons around him in terms of the ability to throw the ball downfield.”

Georgia at Auburn is slated for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff (ABC).
