Kirby Smart discussed how Georgia has been improving during scrimmages lately. The difference between the first and second scrimmage was something that Smart was pleased with.
Smart was vocal about how he felt when it came to the Bulldog’s first scrimmage. However, Smart liked the improvement made after scrimmage number two.
“I was very pleased with the improvement from scrimmage one to scrimmage two,” said Smart. “I thought that last week’s scrimmage was not really up to the standard of what we need. We’re not where we need to be, but we’re competing.

The reigning national champs are going to have a higher standard for themselves compared to most other teams in the country. Smart expects nothing less than that.
Georgia will need to be on its game in order to win a third-straight national title. There is only one program who has won three-straight national titles.
Minnesota managed to do so during the 1934, 1935, and 1936 seasons.
Smart has led Georgia to a 29-1 record from the 2021-2022. The last loss Georgia suffered was during the 2021 SEC Championship against Alabama.
The Bulldogs will need to continue improving if they want to win another National Championship in 2023.
