Kirby Smart has faced questions about JT Daniels’ practice activity for much of the season, but as Georgia prepares to face Michigan in the College Football Playoff, he will not offer detailed updates.

Smart told reporters on Monday that he will not disclose the information on if JT Daniels is taking reps with the starters at practice. Smart added that Daniels, along with Stetson Bennett, Carson Beck and Brock Vandagriff have all practiced well.

Smart last week told the media that Bennett and Daniels are evaluated every day, and while Bennett made some “boneheaded” plays against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game, he made some good plays as well.

Daniels, who has dealt with lat and oblique injuries this season, has been healthy enough to play for several weeks, although Bennett, a fifth-year senior, has taken control of the starting job.

Daniels opened this season among the Heisman Trophy favorites as the Bulldogs’ starter, but injuries kept him on the sidelines and limited until a little more than a month ago.
