After a win against Florida, Georgia had no major injuries to report as it prepared for a 7 p.m. kickoff against Missouri on Saturday. However, there were a few minor issues with several players that left their status up in the air.

Head coach Kirby Smart revealed that cornerback Tyrique McGhee was still dealing with a foot injury. The senior has struggled to stay on the field this year, playing against Notre Dame, Tennessee and Kentucky but seeing no action outside of that and staying home as the rest of the team traveled to Jacksonville. Also not traveling was senior defensive tackle Michael Barnett, due to a “nagging injury”.

One member of the defense that could return “soon” according to Smart is inside linebacker Channing Tindall. Tindall, who has 8 tackles and 1.5 sacks this season in 5 games, sustained the injury during the Kentucky game.

After the Florida game, Smart announced that Tyson Campbell (turf toe) was good to play that day, but he never got a chance to put him on the field. Meanwhile, Justin Shafer (neck) was a non-participant in practice on Monday, but Smart did not update his status during his press conference.
